Stateline Senior Services was founded by Bill McCloskey having a wealth of experience serving over 10,000 senior citizens in Connecticut over the past 35+ years.

Bill's dedication to the senior community is evident in his 30 years of experience. He has undergone the completion of a 22 part program of study in financial, physical, emotional, and personal issues of aging. This continuing education helps Bill provide relevant and current advice to clients.
Bill graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a bachelor degree of science in economics. He lives with his wife Wendy and has four children, Kate, Elizabeth, Billy and Garrett. Bill enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering for the Macie Grace Foundation.

Bill McCloskey
Bill is the founder of Stateline Senior Services. He has a wealth of experience having served over 20,000 senior citizens in southern New England over the past 40 years.
He chose to merge his company with Integrity Marketing in 2021. As managing partner, Bill looks forward to many more years of providing the same exceptional customer service and retirement advice, but now with the backing of a nationally recognized company.
As an investment Advisor Representative with William Joseph Capital Management, LLC, Bill works primarily with our investment clients handling all financial matters related to annuities and Investments as well as estate preservation, long-term care, and life insurance.
Bill and his wife Wendy have four children and four grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, snowmobiling, and Misquamicut beach when away from serving their Stateline clients.
Kate McCloskey
Kate McCloskey has been working at Stateline Senior Services since 2015. She started as a client service representative, but within her first year at the company earned her license to sell Life and Health Insurance in the state of Connecticut. She is now one of our leading Medicare advisors.
Kate has a passion for teaching and helping people, and she brings these qualities to her client interactions. She understands the stresses and concerns associated with transitioning to retirement and truly enjoys helping people understand their options and have more peace of mind. Kate views it as a privilege to work with the senior population, and works with integrity, professionalism and a kindhearted nature when collaborating with and advising clients.
When she is not at work, Kate enjoys reading, writing, hiking with her dog Benny, and most importantly, spending time with her husband and children.

Michelle Casciano
Michelle has worked at Stateline Senior Services since January of 2006. She handles all financial applications, marketing, licensing, planning, and oversees the operation of the agency day to day. Michelle lives in Somers with her husband Tony and has three children and three grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with the kids, cooking, traveling, and the beach.
Naomi (Amy) Clark
Naomi “Amy” Clark joined our team in Spring 2022.
Amy graduated in 1995 from University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville PA.
She comes to us with over 20 years’ experience in Organizational Leadership. Half of this time was in Community Health work and disabilities.
She loves to support people in their need and see them succeed.
Amy is a Massachusetts native and enjoys spending time with her husband, adult sons and teen daughter.
Jeff Moser
Jeff is a Navy Veteran who upon returning from service worked for Hallmark Cards, Inc. for 33 years before retiring from his Purchasing Manager role in 2014. He‘s an active member of the Somers Lions Club, serving as President for 7 of the 15 years he’s been involved.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys traveling and hiking with his wife Barbara as well as golfing and woodworking.
Sam Moser
Sam has been working at Stateline Senior Services since 2018, where he is a Senior Advisor, helping clients with their Medicare and Financial options.
He graduated Bryant University in 2016, where he studied Actuarial Mathematics and Finance.
Sam enjoys working with clients and finding ways where he can best help with their insurance and financial needs.
In his free time Sam enjoys playing basketball, golfing, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Johnny Poitras
Johnny Poitras joined the team at Stateline in June 2024. He has a passion for connecting and helping clients.
His past experiences were in education as a school counselor where he focused on mental health in the high school aged setting. In addition to counseling, he has coached soccer, cross-country, and track and field during his time as a counselor.
Johnny is licensed in health and life insurance in the state of Connecticut, and also a licensed Investment Advisor Representative with William Joseph Capital Management LLC in Bristol, CT. Fun fact, he is very passionate about math and numbers.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, working out, spending time in nature with his dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
Nicholas Vecchio
Nick recently joined the Stateline Senior Services family in early 2024. He graduated University of Connecticut, where he studied Biology. Prior to entering the insurance industry in 2020, he discovered his passion for helping others as an Ophthalmic Technician.
Nick enjoys his role as a Senior Advisor as it provides a unique opportunity to assist clients navigate the transition from the working phase of life to retirement. He understands just how confusing it can be and finds true joy in helping clients better understand their options.
He strives to provide excellent customer service and to find solutions that best suits the individual needs of his clients.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with friends and family, weightlifting, hiking, and fishing.
Israel Rivera
Israel joined the Stateline Senior Services’ advisory team in December of 2022. He graduated in 2011 with a master’s degree from Westfield State University in Criminal Justice Administration.
Having over 20 years’ experience in Social Work and Human Services Israel enjoys his advisory role at Stateline Senior Services because of his commitment to provide the best in customer service and his dedication to helping people find solutions to enhance their lives.
In his off time, Israel loves to spend time with his family, play drums, and see his favorite sports team play.
Wendy McCloskey
Wendy has been working with Bill since 1993 in the insurance industry. She received her Life and Health Insurance certification and sold Medicare Supplements, Long Term Care insurance, Life insurance and Annuities.
She did telemarketing for Bill’s appointments and all the billing for his business until she became a stay-at-home mom with their children in 1999. She continued to make his appointments until 2002 when she decided to go back to college to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was still doing all the billing for Stateline and then was hired to work in accounts payable part-time when Bill merged with Integrity in 2021.
Wendy is an RN who works per diem as a staff nurse at Evergreen Endoscopy Center in South Windsor as well as continues to work part-time for Stateline Senior Services.
Wendy and Bill have four children and four grandchildren. Her favorite things to do are spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, going to the beach and snowmobiling.
Mickey Akey
Mickey graduated from Ashford University in 2017 with a degree in Human Resources Management. She has over 30 years experience in customer service, office administration and management. She enjoys creating a positive environment for Stateline clients and strives to bring the best in service while assisting them.
Mickey is married to her husband Shawn and has one son. When away from the office, she is active with a local Fife and Drum Corps playing the fife, traveling, Renaissance fairs, and antiquing.
Kristina Murphy
Kristina joined the Stateline Family in January of 2019. She is currently part of the client service team, and she works around the clock to get clients the answers they need. She loves helping people, and as of October 2023, she will be joining the advisor team!
When Kristina is not working, she has a full schedule! Married, with 3 children (not to mention 2 dogs and a cat), there are countless sporting events, choir concerts, drama plays, sleepovers and more that she fills her life and love with!
Kristina also has embarked on a home business journey where she makes custom vinyl products including mugs, tumblers, pens, and shirts.
Chery Corbin-Rau
Chery recently joined the Stateline Senior Services family. She has over 25 years’ experience in customer service.
She enjoys assisting and supporting our clients when they have needs.
When not in the office, Chery enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and her two grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, going on hikes with her dog and in the warm weather spending the weekends with her grandchildren by the pool.
